1. Who this applies to
This policy applies to every School and Authorised User of SchoolerHub. It forms part of the Terms & Conditions. Breaching it may lead to suspension or termination.
2. No unlawful activity
You must not use SchoolerHub to:
- Break any applicable law or regulation, in India or elsewhere
- Store, transmit or distribute unlawful material
- Infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy or other rights
- Facilitate fraud, money laundering or misrepresentation of financial records
- Create or store falsified academic records, certificates, receipts or attendance data
3. Protecting student and parent data
This is the most important section. SchoolerHub holds personal information about children, including addresses, photographs, medical details and government identifiers. You must not:
- Access a student's or staff member's record when you have no legitimate work reason to do so
- Export, copy, photograph or share student or parent data outside the school's authorised processes
- Use contact details from the system for personal, political, commercial or fundraising purposes unconnected with the school
- Sell, rent or otherwise disclose student or parent data to any third party
- Publish student information — including photographs, marks or attendance records — without the consent required by law and school policy
- Retain student data after leaving the school's employment
Schools should review who holds administrator access periodically and remove accounts promptly when staff leave.
4. Messaging and communication
Messaging through SchoolerHub is for transactional, school-related communication only. You must not:
- Send promotional, marketing, advertising or fundraising messages to parents
- Send unsolicited messages, bulk messages or spam of any kind
- Message numbers the school has no lawful basis to contact
- Continue messaging a recipient who has asked the school to stop
- Send abusive, threatening, harassing, defamatory or discriminatory content
- Misrepresent the sender's identity, or send messages that appear to come from another organisation
- Use approved message templates for a purpose other than the one they were approved for
- Attempt to circumvent WhatsApp Business Platform rules, TRAI regulations on commercial communication, or DND registrations
Messaging abuse can cause a school's sender identity to be restricted or permanently blocked by the provider or by Meta, and can affect other schools on shared infrastructure. We treat it seriously.
5. Security
You must not:
- Attempt to access another school's data, or any account you are not authorised to use
- Share, sell or transfer login credentials, or use another person's account
- Attempt to bypass authentication, authorisation, rate limits or any other security control
- Probe, scan or test the security of the platform without our prior written permission
- Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the platform, or attempt to extract its source code
- Introduce malware, ransomware or any other harmful code
- Use automated tools to scrape, harvest or bulk-extract data beyond the platform's own export features
- Interfere with the platform's operation or place unreasonable load on it
6. Content standards
Content uploaded to SchoolerHub — documents, photographs, announcements and notes — must not be:
- Obscene, sexually explicit, or harmful to children in any way
- Abusive, harassing, threatening or discriminatory
- Defamatory or knowingly false
- Unrelated to the legitimate operation of the school
7. Reporting a security issue
If you discover a vulnerability, please report it to [email protected] rather than exploiting or publicising it. Include enough detail for us to reproduce the issue.
We will acknowledge your report within 3 working days and keep you updated. We will not pursue action against anyone who reports an issue in good faith, does not access or modify data belonging to others, and gives us reasonable time to fix it before disclosure.
8. Reporting misuse
If you believe SchoolerHub is being misused — for example that student data is being accessed inappropriately, or that parents are receiving messages they should not — report it to [email protected] or call +91 99650 90877.
9. What happens if this policy is breached
Depending on severity, we may:
- Contact the school administrator to resolve the issue
- Suspend an individual user account
- Suspend messaging while we investigate
- Suspend the school's access to the platform
- Terminate the agreement under the Terms
- Report the matter to law enforcement or a regulator where we are required or it is clearly warranted
Where the circumstances allow, we will contact the school first and give it an opportunity to address the issue. Where there is an immediate risk to data, to children or to the platform, we may act first and notify as soon as practicable.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product, the law or messaging-provider rules change. Material changes are notified to school administrators by email at least 14 days in advance.
